The Word of the Day is Chance

Matthew 19:26 (MSG) — “Jesus looked hard at them and said, ‘No chance at all if you think you can pull it off yourself. Every chance in the world if you trust God to do it.’”

Some moments in life feel uncertain or even impossible to overcome. We face decisions that stretch us, opportunities that intimidate us, and circumstances that seem far beyond our abilities. But Jesus reminds us that “chance” in God’s hands is never random. What we see as uncertainty becomes purposeful when we surrender the outcome to God. We aren’t asked to overcome in our own strength, but only to trust the One who can do what we cannot. With God, every chance becomes a sacred opportunity for God's power to work through our faith. “When God is involved, what seems like a long shot becomes a sure thing.”
