Grace

The Word of the Day is “Grace”

Scripture Foundation: “So we’re not giving up. How could we? Even though it often appears that things are falling apart around us, on the inside, where God is creating new life, His unfolding grace is always present. These hard times pale in comparison to the coming good times—the lavish celebration that has been prepared for us. There’s so much more than what meets the eye.” — 2 Corinthians 4:16–18 (MSG)

“Grace is not simply a pause amidst life’s pain; it is the divine power working through it.

Grace represents the undeserved, unearned, and unending favor of God that strengthens, renews, and sustains us, especially when life feels overwhelming. It is God’s quiet miracle unfolding daily in the hidden places of our hearts. Grace doesn’t erase the struggle; it transforms it. Paul reminds us that while our external world may be crumbling, our inner world is being renewed day by day by the grace of God. What appears to be loss often serves as the fertile ground for new life. Grace redirects our focus from the temporary to the eternal, from the seen to the unseen, reminding us that God’s work within us is never in vain. Every hardship becomes an opportunity for grace to deepen its roots and for God’s glory to shine through us. The Word of the Day is “Grace”.

Reflection Questions:

1. In which areas of your life do you long to experience God’s renewing grace right now?

2. How does viewing your hardships through the lens of eternity shift your perspective today?

3. What subtle signs of God’s grace have you discovered in your inner life, even when outward circumstances remain unchanged?

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unfolding grace that meets me daily, even when I can’t perceive it at work. When I feel weary or broken, remind me that You are renewing me from within. Help me to see beyond the temporary to the eternal glory being shaped through my struggles. Strengthen my faith to trust that Your grace is sufficient—today, tomorrow, and always. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Amen and Amen.
